Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until well combined.

Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Add the meatballs in batches, browning them on all sides. They don’t need to be fully cooked at this stage, just nicely browned.

Step 4

Once browned, transfer the meatballs to a pot with tomato sauce. Ensure they are submerged in the sauce. Simmer gently for about 20-30 minutes, allowing the meatballs to cook through and absorb the flavors of the sauce.

Step 5

Serve the meatballs with pasta, on a sub roll, or enjoy them on their own.
